L'Atelier de Charlotte

We are a Spanish footwear brand based in London and Elda.

A business run by women specialized in the creation and manufacturing of high-quality shoes.

The ethos foundation our brand is based on contributing to the permeability of the local manufacturing businesses, as well as maintaining the long lasting tradition of shoe production in Spain.

Mother and Daughter

Valérie and Charlotte. Mama and I started our own brand in 2017. Mama Val has been in the business for over 30 years now, and I could say I was born in a shoe.

We love travelling together and this is how we usually find inspiration. You can tell when you see our collections :)

New Orleans is one of our favourite travel destinations for its incredible music scene. Both of us are also very inspired by music and that is the main reason most of our styles are named after powerful artists within the music industry.

Ethical & Sustainable

Our passion for fashion and eagerness to support more sustainable business models is what made us create L'Atelier de Charlotte.

We make shoes using bold colours and mixing a variety of fabrics and textures giving them a second chance. Our shoes are all made from upcycled leathers and fabrics. We reuse stock from local manufacturers and avoid it going to waste.

Another incredibly important part of our business is to continue to support the tradition of shoe manufacturing in Elda, Spain.
